It seems Bethesda and Arkane’s extremely successful first-person shooter Deathloop is finally going all platform. The game originally came out on PS5 and PC only, but Deathloop might be coming to the Xbox store soon. It was known after its release that it would eventually come to Xbox since it was confirmed to be a timed-exclusive. And finally, a year after its initial release, we are hearing rumblings of Deathloop coming to Xbox very soon.
A new listing for Deathloop was spotted on the Xbox store today by many people. Even though the actual listing of the game did not go live yet, an ad for the game was running on the marketplace, encouraging players to pre-order the game.
This shows that Xbox is in the process of making it available in the store. This effectively confirms that the official announcement of at Xbox release for Deathloop should be just around the corner. This coincides with the ending of the timed exclusivity of the game, which ends this week as well. With both of these things combined, we can be fairly certain that we will hear something from Bethesda and Arcane sometime soon.

The Launch of Deathloop On Xbox
It is very likely that when Deathloop does finally make its way to the Xbox store, it will only be playable on an Xbox Series X. Unlike most games that have come out recently that have mostly been cross-gen, Deathloop was next-gen (current-gen now) exclusive since there was no PS4 version.
What should interest most fans is whether the game will launch on GamePass directly or not. Since Bethesda and Arcane are owned by Microsoft, it only makes sense that the game launches on Microsoft’s subscription service directly, like previous Microsoft first-party titles. And what a great addition Deathloop would make to the Game Pass collection. Xbox has not confirmed any of this yet, and since it’s on pre-order, it is also possible that it does not launch directly on Game Pass, but later on down the line.
