Halo Infinite is nearing its launch date of December 8 and will be released in multiple parts. The multiplayer will release ahead of the campaign and forge mode. It will also be free-to-play, allowing more fans to partake in the Halo series. That being said, fans may be wondering what maps will be in Halo Infinite.

So far, 343 Industries has revealed six multiplayer maps for Halo Infinite, which have all been new maps. As a result, fans may be wondering if any classic maps such as the iconic Blood Gulch will be in Halo Infinite. The answer is no—at least not at launch and not officially.

Multiplayer Lead Andrew Witts confirmed that they focused on new maps to give Halo Infinite a new feel. He also confirmed that remakes were discussed, but they likely wouldn’t work, and if they did return, they might not be exact replicas. This doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t return.

343 Industries may add the map later, or fans may recreate Blood Gulch using the forge mode. Those looking to battle on Blood Gulch’s familiar ground will have to wait or play another game in the Halo series.
