In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, players are going to see several changes to the map, loot pool, mechanics, and even certain game modes. Battle Lab is one of the game modes which allowed players to traverse the map freely and get habituated with all the changes. However, this feature was removed at the start of the season, and players are wondering when it might return to the game.

Can you queue in the Battle Lab game mode in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1?

The Battle Lab game mode could previously be found in the Discover tab with other game modes in Fortnite. However, it has been removed from the game in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, and the developers have not specified the reason behind it. Without this game mode, players are left to explore the map in public matches.

Battle Lab was the perfect option for players to get familiar with the new map. In previous seasons, players could queue up in Battle Lab and explore the map freely. This allowed players to check out all the different POIs, chest spawns, vehicle locations, and much more. Battle Lab allowed players to queue in with 15 friends and set the rules by selecting from different LTM loot pools.

Battle Lab allowed players to land on the map without worrying about the threat of getting eliminated by opponents. Instead of real players, you could use friendly and enemy bot grenades to spawn AI on the map for a fun experience. Although this feature is not available in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, players are expecting it to return sooner than later. We recommend keeping an eye on Fortnite’s official Twitter to stay updated about Battle Lab’s inclusion in Chapter 4.
