You can play AC: Valhalla for $15, but not if you’re on console.
Uplay+ may have been rebranded to Ubisoft+, but that hasn’t stopped people from wondering if Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on the subscription service. The short answer is yes! But, there are a couple of caveats interested Assassin’s Creed fans should keep in mind.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on Ubisoft+ is only available on PC, with one exception.
Ubisoft+ will arrive on Stadia before the end of the year if that happens to be your streaming service of choice. Otherwise, subscribers will need either a PC or a Luna invite to utilize the subscription service and play Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for only $15. You’ll have access to all the content from the Ultimate Edition of the game while subscribed, and you can cancel at any time. Additionally, you’ll have access to a large selection of Ubisoft’s back-catalogue, and premium editions of their upcoming games. So, if you’ve been sitting on both Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion you can subscribe and try both out for a quarter of either’s retail price.
Then again, that’s assuming you can crank through both in a month, which is doable with Watch Dogs Legion. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a large, dense game that will take some time to clear, so if you know you’ll take a few months to clear it you may want to buy the game outright. That said, you can also use Ubisoft+ to see if you even want to own the game in the first place. Choices, choices.
