Comrades today, King Art Games has just announced that a whole slew of new content for Iron Harvest is on the way this month. The updates will include a new game mode and a new story campaign, and much more. That said, here is everything you need to know about the November Iron Harvest updates.

New Drop Zone Game Mode

The new game mode, dubbed Drop Zone, is a mode that tasks you with collecting stockpiles that are airdropped across the map. As you collect these stockpiles, you will collect victory points. The player with the most points at the end wins the game. Multiple drops can even fall at once, and they take a lot of time to collect, so you will have to plan to secure and protect future drop zones. Drop Zone will be available on all the maps currently in the game and can be played in Skirmish, Ranked, Quick Match, and custom matches.

I don’t know about you, but I’m quite excited about this new game mode because it sounds like this Drop Zone mode is going to be a battle royale type mode for an RTS game, which is a highly intriguing concept. You can see more Iron Harvest updates from their new November roadmap that you can see in the image above. A lot of content is coming two weeks outside of what’s here, so you better be ready.

New Story DLC Iron Harvest Called Rusviet Revolution

In the new story DLC, the people of Rusviet will rise against the tyranny of the Tsar. You will also be taken on an adventure spanning four new single-player maps. Light will even be shed on the mysterious mad monk Rasputin who whispers into the ear of Tsar Nicholas.

Rusviet Revolution comes on December 17 and will be free for all Kickstarter backers and Iron Harvest Digital Deluxe owners on December 17. Rusviet Revolution will also be available for $3.99 on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.

About Iron Harvest

Since its initial release back on September 1, 2020, players have amassed well over 2 million mechs and captured 2 million resource buildings. The game has also received immense critical and commercial acclaim.

If you haven’t heard about Iron Harvest yet, here’s a small rundown on what it’s all about. In Iron Harvest, the world of alternate 1920+ is on the brink of war a few years after the Great War. The world is mysterious and full of secrets and plotting nations. The old world of tradition faces off against the march of science and technological progress. In Iron Harvest, you chose a faction out of three and follow characters from all three factions in a grand RTS story of sacrifice, freedom, and war.
