Beware of the ‘Lang Zone’ if you head to downtown Chicago.

Game developer and publisher, Iron Galaxy, is marking a decade of game development with an expansion into Chicago’s Loop.  Previously located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on Chicago’s North Side, apparently Dave Lang’s studio is raking in enough cash to warrant a move to fancier digs at The National Building.

While you may know Iron Galaxy from titles like Wreckateer, Divekick, and Killer Instinct, the developers have also had lent their hands in porting some very popular titles to different platforms, including Skyrim on the Switch, Borderlands Handsome Collection on PS4 and Xbox One, and Batman Arkham Knight on PC.

The Chicago-based developer had this to say regarding the move and 10 years of Iron Galaxy: “I’m extremely proud of my team and all that we have achieved in our 10 years.  The National Building is the perfect place for the next chapter of growth and the many projects that lie ahead.”

Iron Galaxy does have a second studio in Orlando, Florida.  The Chicago arm of the developer’s most recent release, however, was Extinction.  In which they teamed with Modus Games for an action title that saw mixed reviews at launch earlier this year.
