At its event in the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, California, Apple has finally taken the covers off its brand new 2019 iPhones, and yes, they are called the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, an iPhone 11 Pro Max. These iPhones are direct upgrades to last year’s iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.

The iPhone 11 is the successor to last year’s iPhone XR, and it comes with the same 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display. In terms of specs that Apple has announced, the iPhone 11 comes with the brand new A13 Bionic chipset.

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are the successors to last year’s iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, and as such, they are the higher-end iPhone variants for the year. The iPhone 11 Pro comes with the same 5.8-inch OLED display as last year’s iPhone XS. The iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with a 6.5-inch OLED display, same as last year’s iPhone XS max. Apple has also put in the brand new A13 Bionic chipset, and the phone will be available in multiple storage options for users.

On the back, there’s the same square camera module as the iPhone 11, but the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max come with a triple 12MP camera set-up (wide + telephoto + ultra-wide). Up front, there’s the same notch packing all the Face ID tech for unlocking your phone securely, alongside the 12MP selfie camera.
