If you are still looking for a Hitman fix after playing through the most recent game, IO Interactive has you covered. The company has announced, via Twitter, the Hitman Enhanced HD Collection for the PS4 and Xbox One (sadly, the collection will not be on the Nintendo Switch).

The HD collection will include 4k graphics for the PlayStation Pro and Xbox One X consoles, 60 Frames, improved lighting, and updated controls (which for the most part will probably just resemble the controls from their most recent games).
In a statement from the IO Interactive blog, CEO Hakan Abrak had this to say:
The HD collection will include Blood Money and Absolution. These two are pretty good picks for an HD collection seeing as these games are very well known titles that have not yet been brought to the current generation of consoles.
“Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution have helped us on our journey to where we are today, and we’re looking forward to players enjoying them in 4K and 60 fps.”
Blood Money was released in 2006 for the PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, and PC. This game is an instant classic, and probably one of the most well-known game in the series.
Absolution was released in 2012 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. This game was my first entry into the series, and I thought it was that it was a good jumping on point because of how current the controls were. Despite the game being more linear than the more recent games, this game is pretty well made with a great cinematic story. Absolution is a more personal story for Agent 47 as he is attempting to seek some kind of redemption for his past life while also taking on the agency he once worked for.
The collection releases January 11th, 2019.
