ABC, unlike some networks, is experiencing scandals about big-shot anchors luring behind-the-scenes staff for the first time. The Sun U.S. also reported that T.J.’s relationship with Natasha may have broken company rules.

During the #MeToo era, rival networks NBC and CBS faced a great crisis with two of their anchors. The networks fired Today host Matt Lauer and CBS This Morning host Charlie Rose for inappropriate behavior with junior staffers.

But this is the first time ABC is confronting a similar crisis. Last week, the Daily Mail revealed that co-workers T.J. and Amy were in a relationship that included romantic country getaways and flirty after-work drinks. The duo was married to other people at the time and split from their spouses in August.

ABC’s investigation into T.J. Holmes is expected to uncover his past and direct the network on what to do. If T.J. Holmes violated ABC rules, then he may be let go having violated the terms of his contract.
