One memorable incident involved an awkward medical emergency that called for the intervention of medics following a shaving session.

Weeks after the dating show went off-air, the 23-year-old reality star appeared on the Saving Grace podcast, where she detailed the embarrassing ordeal.

Indiyah Polack Explains Scary Shaving Mishap In Love Island Villa

During the podcast, Indiyah Polack recalled how she came down with a shaving rash during her stint on Love Island season 8. According to the star, her ordeal unfolded after she changed her usual shaving routine from sugar waxing to shaving every day because she had no access to the latter in the villa. The former hotel waitress admitted she became so engrossed in the new routine, and went overboard. She explained:

Within two days, the “shaving happy” syndrome caught up with her, resulting in a breakout of itchy rashes on her skin. While she failed to specify the exact timeline of this event, the star noted that she experienced severe pain throughout the ordeal. It took the intervention of ITV’s doctors to eventually cure her condition.

The Shaving Mishap Off-Setted Her

Sharing more details on the shaving mishap, Indiyah Polack revealed that her condition was so severe that doctors admitted they had never seen anything like that. Notwithstanding, they did their best to help her out, subjecting Indiyah Polack to some of her worst moments in the Love Island villa. She reflected:

She fought through the ordeal and eventually made it to the top three couples on Love Island, along with her partner Dami Hope. Despite not emerging as the final winner on the ITV dating show, Indiyah has maintained an air of positivity around her. Her career has also taken a positive turn, especially with her recent record-beaking six-figure deal with PrettyLittleThing, to become the first-ever ambassador of their new Marketplace.
