Soundfall is in full swing for an official release sometime this Spring 2022. Developer Drastic Games unveiled a Coming Soon Trailer for Soundfall that introduced gameplay footage during The MIX indie showcase. Enthusiastic players can wishlist the game now, which will be available for all major consoles and PC.

Play to the Beat in Drastic Games’ Soundfall

In this fresh take on the indie rhythm looter-shooter genre, Soundfall invites players to experience music and action in a new way. You play as Melody, a Guardian of Harmony who wields musical abilities. The world of Symphonia is under great threat, with the almighty Composers summoning our heroine to battle evil. To catch a glimpse of the protagonist in action, check out the trailer right here.

Throughout your time in Soundfall, you’ll encounter a variety of musical items to use in combat. Coupled with the +100 distinctive songs in the game, the action goes along with the beat of the music. You can either venture into battle on your own, or you can assemble a team of up to three friends through local or online multiplayer. And, if you want to kick things up a notch, you can also import your own music into the game, even though this feature is only feasible on PC.

Drastic Games and publisher Noodlecake shared the Coming Soon Trailer for Soundfall during The MIX event. The MIX, or Media Indie Exchange, offers a playground for indie developers to showcase their projects. For those interested in Soundfall, you can wishlist the title now through its several platform links. It will be available for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store sometime during the Spring season.
