Hulu has renewed the comedy-drama series Life & Beth for Season 2. Amy Schumer shared the good news on The Howard Stern Show. Season 1 premiered on March 18th, and Hulu renewed the series Life & Beth for a 10-episode second season. Amy Schumer writes, directs, and executive produces the Hulu comedy-drama series. Kevin Kane, Daniel Powell, and Ryan McFaul executive produce the show alongside Schumer. Endeavor Content produces the show. Amy Schumer plays the lead, Beth, who has a seemingly good life on the outside. She reevaluates her life after a family tragedy. Switching between the present and Beth’s childhood, the series depicts how Beth turned out the way she has in addition to who she wants to become. It co-stars Michael Cera, Susannah Flood, Kevin Kane, Yamaneika Saunders, Laura Benanti, Larry Owens, Michael Rapaport, Rosebud Baker, and LaVar Walker. Michael Cera plays Schumer’s love interest in the series.

The Series That Has Brought Amy Schumer Back to TV Will Return for Another Season

Amy Schumer has come a long way since her Comedy Central series Inside Amy Schumer. The Hulu comedy-drama series shows Schumer in a different light. Now, Life & Beth has been renewed for a second season. The first season concluded with Beth starting a relationship with John (Cera), quitting her job, and fixing her relationship with her sister Ann (Susannah Flood). Since Life & Beth was renewed for Season 2, it can expand on Beth’s progress in getting her life together. It has gotten generally positive reviews. Schumer has room to further flesh out her protagonist, and fans can see where her relationship with John will go. Schumer flexed her comedy skills at the Academy Awards, but Life & Beth shows her skills in acting and writing. Fans of the series will have to wait for Season 2 to see where the story goes.
