Square Enix recently sold off their Western Studios, which included Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montreal, and Square Enix Montreal. Embracer Group purchased the studios and the games they were developing, including Marvel’s Avengers, which is still receiving new content.

This sale is taking place within the Square Enix store, which is a little strange given the transfer to Embracer. However, players think Square Enix is trying to clear all its stock of these old games at a huge discount and then want to start from scratch. Nonetheless, we don’t know when the huge Square Enix sale will end.
