Star Wars Classics hit Xbox One

A huge selection of eleven original Xbox games has arrived for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. Featuring some huge hits, including a bunch of Star Wars titles, this new set of games adds to the ever growing selection for the popular feature. Some of these are true classics, so if you have a copy (or want to buy it digitally), and an Xbox One, you’ll definitely want to check out the full list below.

Destroy All Humans!, Full Spectrum Warrior, Mercenaries, MX Unleashed, Panzer Elite Action are the non-Star Wars titles arriving for Backward Compatibility today. On the Star Wars side there’s Battlefront, Battlefront II, Jedi Academy, Jedi Starfighter, Knights of the Old Republic II, and Republic Commando.

These eleven games represent some of the best available for the original Xbox (thanks for the weird naming convention Microsoft). Personally, I put way too much time into Destroy All Humans!, and Full Spectrum Warrior was a really cool take on an underrepresented genre. Getting KOTOR 2 is awesome as well, completing the series set on Xbox One.

Xbox One Backward Compatibility has been one of the best moves Microsoft made with their current gen console. While the Switch and PS4 are still outselling Xbox each month, it’s clear that Microsoft is set on keeping their fans happy, something we pointed out was key to Sony’s success.
