Sony will be hosting a State of Play on February 2, 2022. The stream will take place at 2pm PT and 5pm ET. The show can be found streaming live on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel and their official Twitch channel. This State of Play is expected to cover Gran Turismo 7, PlayStation’s highly anticipated racing simulator.
What will be shown at the State of Play?
Sony has made it pretty clear that this State of Play will focus heavily, if not entirely, on Gran Turismo 7. While the chances of a surprise announcement or reveal are never zero during these types of shows, it would be wise for fans to keep their expectations under control.
Viewers can expect to see some gameplay footage of the racing title and maybe even a closer look at some of the new mechanics. Sony has already shown footage of the game, highlighting a few races on well-known tracks. All footage shown so far has been from the game’s PlayStation 5 version, though the game will also be released on the PlayStation 4. Gran Turismo 7 is expected to release on March 4, 2022.
